Amita Patel
I’ve always been interested in beauty and holistic therapies and after a big life change I decided to formally train in the industry and set up Reborn Holistics.
Reborn Holistics began in 2008 in Ashton-Under-Lyne and then moved to our current, lovely venue in Audenshaw in 2009. I think I’ll forever be a student as I’m always adding to my knowledge and skills. After completing my first year of beauty and holistic therapies I then learned Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Ayurvedic Massage, Crystal Clear microdermabrasion, Lava Shell Massage, Moroccan Tan and Laser Hair Removal. I’m currently completing a course in Oncology Support, learning how to best provide relaxation treatments to clients with tumours using Ayurvedic principles.
It’s hard to decide what my favourite treatment is to give but at a push probably a facial with a massage, I think my favourite treatment to receive is a full body massage. I love working in beauty and holistic, it’s a real passion to help people feel good inside and out. I feel very lucky to have such a fantastic team, guest therapists and of course our lovely clients.

There is nothing more relaxing to me than entering a spa environment knowing that an excellent treatment is just a few minutes away so the opportunity to work in such a place was too good to miss!
With a background in project management and a passion for holistic therapies, working in business support at Reborn Holistics combines many of my interests. If you email us or chat to us on social media its most likely me that you will be talking to.
I love to design promotional materials, work on the website and post on our social media accounts.

I think my favourite treatment to give is probably Reiki but my favourite to receive has to be one of Amita's reflexology treatments - They are just the best!

I have 17 years of experience as a Bowen therapist having also completed Reiki 1&2. My background is in holistic therapy and I’ve always been interested in psychology, specifically the connection between our thoughts, feelings and physical health.
I started working with Amita in 2008 when she first opened Reborn Holistics in Ashton- Under-Lyne. What really interests me about my role is the results, the satisfaction that you get from helping people. In a holistic therapy like Bowen, the whole body is treated, this includes physical relaxation as well as relaxation of the mind. Needing to manage stress and anxiety and the pressure of modern lives can cause us to hold on to tension, Bowen helps to release the physical tension which then assists with the emotional well being.
I think my favourite treatment to receive is probably reiki but a massage comes a close second.
I love working with our clients here at Reborn, it’s a really nice feeling knowing that you’re helping someone to relax and make a positive difference in their day.

I’ve been working at Reborn since 2010 and within the holistic and complementary therapy industry for nearly 20 years. I’ve always been really interested in complementary therapies and have taught it to others for many years. I have two Teaching Degrees, an Internal Verifiers and Assessor qualification and about 25 other professional qualifications including Massage, Advanced Massage, Reflexology, Advanced Reflexology, Clinical Aromatherapy, Reiki, Swedish Massage etc. I hope to complete Lava Shell Massage this year.
I think my favourite treatment to receive is probably Steamy Spa & Massage with Amita. I think my favourite treatment to give is usually the one I am focused on in that appointment but if you push me it’s probably my Bliss treatment.
It's a great pleasure to work with clients who have 'given-up' on conventional treatments and really improve their lives through complementary therapies.
